Check  3PL & shipping invoice audit for Shopify brands

Your 3PL invoice, checked line by line against the rate card you signed.

Every month {{BRAND}} checks your 3PL bill, and any carrier invoices you pay directly, against your rate card and your Shopify orders: storage, pick/pack, receiving, packaging, special projects, DIM weight, surcharges and duplicate charges. The problem

If the total looks about right, the 3PL bill gets paid.

Line items you've never heard of

Account maintenance fees, zone surcharge variances, receiving adjustments. A nine-page invoice full of charges nobody mentioned when you signed up.

The proof is in three places

The rate card is a PDF, the invoice is a CSV from the 3PL portal, and the orders are in Shopify. Checking one against the others takes a day nobody has.

Small errors repeat every month

A pick fee that crept from $0.50 to $0.65. Storage billed on the month's peak instead of the average. A delivery received once and billed twice. Each one keeps going until someone asks.

One job ad we found offered an offshore assistant $1,000–1,200 a month just to review a brand's 3PL and carrier invoices line by line. {{BRAND}} does that check for a flat fee from $150 a month, and you don't have to hire or train anyone.

How it works

Three steps. Your first audit is last month's.

Send last month's files

Your 3PL invoice (PDF or CSV from the portal), the rate card you signed, and a Shopify order export. Add carrier invoices if you pay UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL or Royal Mail directly.

We recompute every charge

We turn your rate card into a rules sheet and work out what every line should cost. A person then checks every difference against your orders, inventory and receiving records, and drops anything we can't back up.

You get a dispute list

A sheet with each charge to dispute, the clause and the numbers behind it, a short list of charges to ask about, and a drafted email to your 3PL. You send it from your own address.

What changes hands

What you send, and what you get each month

You send (each month)

  • The 3PL invoice with its line-item detail, as PDF or CSV
  • Your rate card or contract pricing pages (once, and again when they change)
  • A Shopify order export for the month, without customer names, emails or street addresses
  • Carrier invoices, if you pay a carrier directly
  • Any quotes you approved for special projects or kitting
  • Your 3PL's inventory and receiving reports, if you can download them

You get (within 5 working days)

  • A dispute list in your own Google Sheet or Excel file, with the clause and evidence for each line
  • A drafted email to your 3PL, ready to send from your address
  • A short "ask about" list for charges your rate card doesn't cover
  • Carrier refunds and adjustments to claim, with tracking numbers
  • A running log of what you disputed and what was credited
  • A real person to reply to: {{FIRST_NAME}}

Subject Invoice INV-4471: 6 charges to correct, 2 questions

Hi team,

We've checked invoice INV-4471 (September) against our rate card dated 1 March 2026. The attached sheet lists 6 charges that don't match it, $1,297.75 in total, with the clause and our records for each line.

Could you confirm these and show the credit on the October invoice? We'd also like to know what the $150.00 account maintenance fee covers and which part of our agreement it falls under, and the receiving date you hold for the 4 pallets billed at the long-term storage rate.

Thanks,
[Your name]

For context: one offshore job ad for reviewing 3PL and carrier invoices line by line paid $1,000–1,200 a month. Audit firms that work on contingency typically keep 20–30% of whatever is recovered, and at least one audit platform built for larger brands starts at $1,000 a month.
What we don't do: negotiate rates, choose or switch your 3PL, send disputes or file claims in your name, pay or hold invoices, or give legal or accounting advice on your contract.

Questions

FAQ

Who are you?

{{BRAND}} is run by {{FIRST_NAME}} in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The work runs on email and shared files, so the time difference doesn't slow it down: your audit comes back within 5 working days of getting the files.

What access do you need?

Files, not logins. You email the invoice, rate card and a Shopify order export, or drop them in a shared folder. If your 3PL portal offers a read-only user, that helps but isn't needed. We never need passwords to Shopify, your bank, your email or your carrier accounts.

Is my data safe?

Your invoices, rate card and order data are used only to check your bills. They're kept in our Google Workspace account with 2-step login, and seen only by the person working on your account. They're never shared or sold, and are deleted within 7 days if you leave. We don't need your customers' names, emails or street addresses, so please delete those columns from the order export. If any personal data does reach us, we handle it as your processor and will sign a data processing agreement. We're happy to sign your NDA first, which helps if your 3PL contract keeps its pricing confidential. Ask for our one-page data promise.

Is this software or people?

People, with good tools. Software reads the invoice and works out what each line should cost under your rate card. A person checks every difference against your records before it goes on the list. If we can't point to a clause and a number, it goes on the "ask" list, not the dispute list.

Which 3PLs and carriers do you cover?

Any 3PL that sends an itemised invoice: ShipBob, ShipMonk, and regional warehouses that bill from their own system or a spreadsheet. On the carrier side: UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, Royal Mail, Evri, DPD, Canada Post and Australia Post. If your 3PL only sends a total, we'll draft a request for the line-item detail first.

Will disputing charges upset my 3PL?

The email we draft is short and factual: the line, the clause, the number. You decide what to send and when. Many rate cards set a time limit for raising billing disputes, so we note the deadline if yours has one.

What if you find nothing?

Then you get a short note listing what we checked and confirming it matched your rate card. Some months that's the result. If several months come back clean, tell us and we'll suggest checking less often, or you can stop.

What don't you do?

We don't negotiate rates, choose or switch your 3PL, or contact your 3PL or carrier unless you ask us to. We don't send disputes, file claims or agree to a settlement in your name, and we never collect or move money: credits go from your 3PL to you. We're not lawyers, accountants or a collection agency, and this is a billing check, not a financial audit. We read your rate card as written and flag unclear clauses rather than give a legal view, and we don't act as your agent.

What happens after the free audit?

Pick a plan or stop. Either way, the dispute list and every file we made are yours.

How do I pay?

A monthly invoice that you can pay by bank transfer (US ACH or UK bank transfer) or by card.
